Enjoy the breathtaking scenery on this Canadian train travel route between Vancouver and Whistler, hosts of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. During your comfortable and stress free 3.5 hour train trip you'll journey from the coastal city of Vancouver, through scenic Howe Sound and the spectacular Cheakamus Canyon, across a trestle bridge, past the jagged snow-capped peaks of the Tantalus Mountains and by an old extinct volcano, before finally arriving in the mountain landscape of world-renowned Whistler Village.

Itinerary:

DAY 1 Vancouver
Arrive in Vancouver and spend time exploring this scenic city on your own. Overnight in Vancouver.

DAY 2 Vancouver to Victoria by Float Plane
This morning you will be transferred to the Vancouver float plane dock. Enjoy a 30-minute float plane flight over the scenic Gulf Islands to Victoria. This afternoon join a whale-watching tour. Whales are frequently sighted during the excursion, along with other wildlife including sea lions, seals, eagles and porpoises. Overnight in Victoria.

DAY 3 Victoria to Whistler by Float Plane
Spend the morning at leisure in Victoria before taking a spectacular float plane flight to Whistler. Enjoy a birds-eye view of Juan De Fuca Strait, the rugged coastline, and the towering Coast Mountains on this unforgettable 55-minute flight. On arrival in Whistler transfer to your overnight accommodation in Whistler Village. Overnight in Whistler.

DAY 4 Whistler to Vancouver
The morning is free to explore Whistler Village at your leisure. This afternoon you will be picked up at your hotel and transferred to the rail station for your trip back to Vancouver on the Whistler Sea to Sky Climb. Afternoon tea (Whistler Dome Service) or a light meal (Whistler Classic Service) is served onboard. You will arrive in to Vancouver in the early evening and be transferred to your downtown Vancouver hotel. Overnight in Vancouver.

DAY 5 Vancouver
Your vacation ends with check-out from your hotel.
