Take the journey on this Canada railway experience through the natural wonders of the West on this route. Travel through scenic valleys, the Coastal Mountain Range and the Fraser Canyon with its spectacular raging white water and dramatic landscape. You will follow the route of the Fraser River, home of British Columbia's largest salmon fishing run, view plenty of wildlife along the way, and pass by the Albreda Glacier and magnificent Pyramid Falls. The highlight of this route is majestic Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies.
Itinerary:
DAY 1 Vancouver
Arrive in Vancouver. The rest of the day is yours to explore one of the world's most beautiful cities. Overnight in Vancouver.
DAY 2 Vancouver to Kamloops
Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from Vancouver to Kamloops. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River. Overnight in Kamloops. B L
DAY 3 Kamloops to Jasper
Your rail adventure continues north and east to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. Highlights include Mount Robson, at 3,954 metres (12,972 feet) the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, Pyramid Falls, and the climb over the Yellowhead Pass into Jasper National Park. Overnight in Jasper. B L
